Centered: There’s More to Life than Increasing its speed. We need each other here!
Gandhi Sculpture: 14th Street and Union Square (SW corner)
In this action, participants will strengthen their kindness muscle and ability to be thoughtful and patient through yoga. They will assemble in Union Square at rush hour to study ways of sitting, standing, and walking to bring peace, within a busy crowded space by utilizing yoga for the hands (mudras), and breath patterning (pranayama). These yogas help bring serenity and kindness, building mental and physical stamina while developing an appreciation for one’s lungs and heart. They also bring a sense of exponential patience, even in trying situations.
