Irina Danilova

Irina Danilova is an installation, media and performance artist /curator, and executive director of Project 59, Inc. Her work focuses on time of life, life events, and paradigms of perception of common phenomena with roots in culture and human nature. Danilova is working on several lifelong projects, including Project 59.

At-large, along 14th Street

Oct 12 – Oct 15

This project will include 3 parts, each in a different location along 14th Street:

A clothesline installation with 14 t-shirts with number 14 on them (collected from secondhand shops in Cleveland, Nantucket Dump, etc.). 150 W 14th Street or nearby.
Couple 5+9, includes walking performances by Irina and Hiram Levy, with impromptu audience participation in exploring 14^th Street through its addends 5 and 9.
Portable work “Tactile Sonata” may be offered to audiences on a portable player.
